As a client of Estcourt Vets, I am so glad that a friend recommended them to me. I have been to many vets and after finding Estcourt Vets I have never looked back and wish I had found them sooner. The nurses are all so friendly and genuinely care and love all animals small or large. The vets are all very kind and professional and always have time for a chat about your pet. You are never shuffled out the door! After the sad loss of our ageing terrier Paddy, all the team, nurses and vets were truely caring, sympathetic and looked after me and Paddy. He became very ill towards the end and they saw him at the drop of a hat. They were all so kind. We now have a puppy and they go out of their way to make a huge fuss of him. He jumps up at the surgery door when we go there as he loves the attention. I would recommend Estcourt Vets to anyone without hesitation. They are an amazing team, kind, friendly, welcoming and very professional.

On coming to live in Devizes thirty years ago my wife and I entrusted the veterinary care of our dogs to Estcourt Vets. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I cannot speak too highly of their surgeons and nurses. They are such a warm, friendly, efficient, highly professional and ever-helpful practice. In fact, thanks to our association with them we look upon them as friends and have the utmost confidence in their ability. They all take a personal interest in each of our dogs, and are always ready to help at any hour of the day or night. We, and our dog family, which has ranged from German Shephers, Bull Terriers, Tibetan Spaniels, Pugs and Pekes, are indebted to Estcourt Vets for their warm, friendly and skilful help, and are very fortunate to be looked after by them. Estcourt Vets has treated our dogs since we moved to Devizes in 1966 - 48 years ago- and has always shown them, and us, respect and understanding. Whatever they have been presented with the Estcourt Vets team has never failed us - heart disease, bloat, epilepsy, deafness, cancer and most recently SARDS (Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome) which was causing blindness. For any matter outside the Vet's expertise we have appreciated their advice in respect of references to specialists - the result of which was the return of hearing and sight. We will never forget the evening, many years ago when the duty nurse stopped us describing a problem and to get our very young golden retriever to the surgery without delay. She had recognised the symptoms as a developing bloat - a fatal condition that can kill very quickly without immediate treatment. Our boy was in the operating theatre 45minutes later; although in a very bad way he survived a two hour operation. Thank you, Jackie. The 24-hour veterinary cover has served us well - especially the Christmas Day morning at 2am when a recently acquired rescue golden retriever was discovered to have eaten all the chocolates in the lounge - sorry about that Andy! Amongst the other animals for which we've sought treatment is our daughter's hamster which fractured its leg very badly - there can't be many surgeries that have performed a successful amputation on such a small animal. And finally, when the time has come to say a final goodbye, the whole of the Estcourt Vets team has treated the patient, and us, with a gentleness and sympathy that has been so greatly appreciated. We have been clients of Escourt Vets for over ten years. We run a working smallholding with a flock of rare breed native sheep, free range geese and chickens, 2 dogs and horses. We also run a small registered dog boarding business from home. As part of our dog boarding registration certificate, we are required to nominate a veterinary practice and we happily use Estcourt Vets, which is necessary if our clients live out of the Devizes area. Estcourt Vets are on the end of the phone 24/7 and we have never had a situation where there has been a delay to see a vet with any of the animals. We always find the staff to be professional, friendly and compassionate. Their facilities are always scrupulously clean and nothing is too much trouble. They have a network of specialists that they can call upon for those obscure issues that occur rarely. We would recommend Estcourt Vets to any of our clients and, indeed, many of them are already registered with them!
