Our team offers expertise in all routine surgery, including dentistry. We can also provide in-depth investigations into more complex medical and surgical conditions using our purpose-built facilities, onsite laboratory and modern diagnostic equipment.

Estcourt Vets’ hospital building contains two surgical theatres, a dedicated dental suite with dental x-ray and an imaging suite. Our separate dog and cat hospital wards are secure, warm and comfortable and you are welcome to visit your pet by arrangement if a stay at the practice is necessary.

Onsite Laboratory & Pharmacy

Having a laboratory onsite allows our nursing team to provide vets with same-day turnaround results for a wide variety of tests. This allows for a quick diagnosis of your pet’s condition and their treatment can then begin promptly.

Alongside our laboratory, we also have a fully stocked pharmacy at Estcourt Vets, ensuring any medications that your pet needs are only a few steps away.

If a specialist laboratory test is required or a specific type of medication that we do not have in our pharmacy, our strong links with external laboratories and suppliers means that we can get our hands on both very quickly if needed.

Diagnostic Imaging

Our team at Estcourt Vets is proud to have access to the most up-to-date digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy equipment, allowing us to treat your pet onsite and immediately if required.

These machines provide powerful, extremely detailed images of your pet’s internal structures and organs, allowing our veterinary team the best diagnostics to help treat your pet. This equipment is particularly helpful in an emergency case where diagnosis and treatment often need to happen as swiftly as possible.

Our veterinary surgeons also have access to a service called VetCT, which provides specialist guidance on unusual cases and specialist X-ray interpretation.

With our own out-of-hours emergency service, our facilities, experienced team and advanced veterinary equipment – you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands with Estcourt Vets. Our diagnostic imaging and onsite laboratory is able to be used 24 hours a day by our vet and nurses, so if your pet requires our attention outside of our usual hours, you can have peace of mind that they will receive the same level of service and access to our clinical facilities.
