Arthur joined the practice two years ago and has quickly taken Di in our office under his wing. Not known for athleticism (unless a visitor arrives at the office) Arthur was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism but is managing well on his medication. Arthur loves singing and sleeping next to the radiator!
Tigi (on the right) is a tortishell Burmese who likes nothing more than sunning herself in the conservatory! Twinkle (on the left) was named by one of Scott’s daughters! She is Tigi’s daughter and was born on the day before Christmas on Scott’s daughter’s bed! She is also a tortishell Burmese with plenty of attitude!
Harry is a very lazy but loving cat who enjoys the outdoors and hunting! He is forever asking for food! Both Harry and Ollie are inseparable.
Ollie is very affectionate and follows Emma around everywhere! He is very much a lap cat and enjoys his cuddles!
Ruby is a 6 month old Alpaca cross who loves being groomed and falling fast asleep on Emma’s lap.
Lillie is also 6 months old and is very entertaining! All she ever does is eat and chew anything in sight!
Seth is a very happy chap who has a typical terriers character – if his nose is busy his ears don’t work! Regardless of the copious hours of dog training he just does what he wants!
Ivy has become Seth’s best friend and spends hours annoying him.
She is already showing typical mischievous terrier characteristics which she gets from her mum who is Vet Emma’s dog Rosie!
Bo was brought in as a stray. he is a very independent cat and can often be found curled up on Jackie’s neighbour’s sofa!
Bradley was brought in as a stray kitten when she was about 6 weeks old. She was very poorly so Jackie took her home over her weekend on call and she never came back in! She made a full recovery and is known to terrorise the neighbours dogs! She is a very good hunter!
These range from 3 years old to 16 years old and will outlive Jackie by years! They get through a lot of salad!
Dougal is Di’s big ginger baby! He could never do any wrong in her eyes! He has got the loudest shout and is permanently hungry and always asking for food!
Wilma is a complete flirt and adores Di’s husband Glenn! You will always find her sat by the bathroom sink waiting for you to turn the tap on – water out of the bowl is not good enough for this little lady!
Roger is Di’s oldest boy!
Both Bobby and Betty came to us as strays within weeks of each other! They live in the office and are mainly looked after by Diane. The pair are extremely talkative, more so when vets are on the phone to clients!
Betty is our second practice budgie that came to us as a stray!
Marmite is a handsome, slightly overweight Bengal cross. Who is extremely and unnecessarily vocal, especially when food is involved!
Hugo is a long-haired cat who really, really detests being brushed – collecting leaves and twigs in all of his fur.
Little Peach was a very unfortunate looking little stray that came to the practice. Unable to resist, Laura took her home and still very small, she is adorable and very friendly!
The fourth and final member of Laura’s cat team, Shelby, another stray Laura had to take home! She is an identical version of her other cat Peach, much more naughty though.
Monty is Becky’s Irish horse. He is a real dressage diva, who enjoys his work!
When Becky isn’t riding him, he enjoys his spare time stuffing his face with grass in his field.
Artie is a working cocker spaniel. He is Becky’s alarm clock every morning without fail.
He is a typical spaniel that has so much energy, he could walk all day and still keep going!
No one believes Jodie when she tells them Archie’s 9, as he acts more like a naughty puppy! When he’s not raiding bins and causing mischief he’s trying to find socks or soft toys to eat. He’s caused no end of worry having to have two soft toys surgically removed after eating them whole!
Max was rescued by Jodie as a feral farm kitten, which is why he’s missing a bit of his ear! He’s sometimes more dog than cat, and enjoys attacking Archie whenever he walks past.
Milo is the most timid of Jodie’s pets. When he’s happy and at home he’s the most cuddly lap cat around, but whenever anyone new comes over he’s usually found hiding under a bed!
